Hi.....I have the manuel box score to correct the play-by-play but I don't see how I can add the 10th spot in the batter order at the moment that the 10th batter hit in the second inning of the game....do I have an option here?

Is is possible to re-set the offensive line-up to reflect 10 hitters as opposed to 9?

More data on the problem.....I see that on the play-by-play I can edit the Game Start Lineup to bat the 10th player....however even after saving that it doesn't seem to put him into the play-by-play when he batted.

So now I think I have the proper 10 batters from the start of game but as I get to his first at-bat I am not sure how to insert him into that spot and then go down play-by-play and re-create what happened. going forward.

More data....unfortunately I didn't spot the problem until well into the third inning so at that point I couldn't go back.....i ended up pinch hitting each spot from the 3rd going forward .....that won't be a problem because I can correct all that stuff???? right?

I just need to get all 10 kids into the play-by-play (problem started in 2nd inning) and then I can recreate what happened.

If this happens during the game, you can add a batter by going to Misc -> Show Starting Lineup, and adding the 10th batter.

If you have completely scored the game and did so without the 10th batter in place, then you are going to have a very hard time "editing" to make the game have a 10th player. You are probably best off re-scoring the game from the scorecard / pitch by pitch data.

I have noticed that if you try to add a 10th batter AFTER iscores cycles back to the top of the order then it will not work. Even if no pitches have been recorded for batter number one, no amount of editing the line up seems to fix this. Batter number one comes back up regardless. I even tried "undo" back several batters and made the edits to the lineup, but still no success.
Any suggestions?

Once you are back to the top of the lineup, adding a 10th batter will not score for the batter until the 10th batter is reached again. If you undo, add the 10th batter (and be sure to set Batting = YES), then after scoring for the 9th batter, then 10th batter will be up.

That was my plan of attack, but undoing a few batters and adding the 10th didn't work that way either. I quit scoring the game and have it unfinished if you would like to duplicate the issue.

Sure, if you want to do an Options -> Export and email us your customer ID, we can try adding a 10th batter to your starting lineup. Send the email to support@iscoresports.com. Be sure to let us know the version of iScore and the device you are using. If you are not on the latest version of iScore, be sure you have updated to the latest version and tried with that as well.
