RBI on Dropped 3rd Strike

This is not so much a question as a comment, hoping others can learn from my mistake.
We had a situation where a run was scored on a dropped third strike that resulted in the batter-runner being thrown out at first. I had entered the play as [strike][dropped 3rd strike] and then 2-3 on the putout. When asked what happened with the runner on 3rd, I entered [safe][home][on the throw].
Several questions arose amongst the coaches and the press as to whether an RBI should be credited to the batter-runner. With the sequence I had entered, iScore did not credit an RBI. The question lingered, so I looked it up in the Official Rules of Baseball. (For those who want to check it out, 10.12(f)(f) defines runners advancing on a dropped 3rd strike where a putout is made as advancing on a fielder's choice. Rule 10.04(a)(1) says players are credited with an RBI on a fielder's choice.)
I couldn't believe that iScore would have made that mistake in calculating stats. I had scoured these forums for an answer to that question, and couldn't find the answer - I even started to write a post in the "Issue Reporting" Forum. Then the idea struck me on a different key sequence that might work. I just went back and edited the play-by-play to change the sequence to [safe][home][advanced by the batter], and the stats now correctly show that the batter has an RBI.
Like most computer programs, it will come up with the correct answer, but only if you provide it with the correct inputs. Kudos to the developers. I hope that if anyone else has this issue, they will be able to find this post and make the appropriate corrections before they become too frustrated.
