hit location charts

Post by OAR » Sun Apr 29, 2012 11:44 am

I want to produce an updated hit location chart for each player for certain tournaments. When I select the tournaments, the hit chart does not show all the hits for that player. I checked to make sure the "record hit locaton" was on and they were. What's interesting is that when I produce a hit chart for the player for any single tournament, the hit chart appears. Thoughts are appreciated.

You need to make sure you have leagues assigned properly to each game (i.e. go to Game Manager, select a game, select Leagues, and make sure the right Leagues are selected). When you want to view the hit charts, go to League Manager, and select just the league(s) you want to view the charts for. Then go to Player Manager and select the player, and hit hit chart will show just the hits for the games in the league(s) selected. You can also email the player card to yourself.

Thank you; I went back to every completed game and assigned the appropriate league to each game. Now when I select the leagues to view the hit charts, it's still not representative of the leagues played. Do I need to recalculate the stats for each game?

You do not need to recalculate. Just go to League Manager, and make sure you only enable the League(s) you want to see the hit charts for, then view the Player Card on your device and it will show only hits for the selected League(s).

Why don't bunts appear in the team hit location chart and what does Other represent?

I would think bunts would appear provided they were charted.

Other represents reach on error or fielder's choice.

I have a batter with 12 bunts and 6 1B and her total hits on the app rightfully appear as 18. But when I view the team's hit chart on web, only her 1B, 2B, 3B, & HR appear. This occurs with any batter that has Bunts.

this has been mentioned before. the bunts are charted.. but the tally boxes do not list bunts..
The 1b is the same as the stat book and does not include bunts.
