Runners on 1st and 3rd. No outs. ball hit to 4. Runner on 1st. stops half way. 4-3 for out number 1. 3-6 runner tagged out for out #2. Runner on 3rd scores.
Scored this way: Out-Ground Out-Touch ball location-Next-4-3-Done-Home-Advanced by Batter-Second-Out-Tagged Out-3-6-Done. Batter was awarded RBI.
The announcer said no RBI for batter because he hit into double play. How do I score this so RBI is not awarded?
Also, if I may, a follow up question. Re: Game Sounds. I have it engaged with vol. up on IPAD but do not hear anything when Ball or Strike is touched. What am I missing

For the second out on the play, you have to tap "Double Play" so that iScore knows a double play occurred.

If you have the game sounds on in the Options screen, then tapping ball or strike in the scoring screen will say Ball or Strike over your speaker. If you are not hearing it, then the device is likely muted.

The play mentioned does record an RBI in iScore, even though by rule, it shouldn't. And, I think noted in other threads, it doesn't record the expected GDP.

Here's how I scored it:
Runner on 1st & 3rd with 0 outs.

Tap Out, ground out, grounder, place ball, next, 4-3-6, done.
Runner on 3rd? Safe, Home, Advanced by batter.
Runner on first? Out, Double-play.

And also worth reviewing, if you use the quick play and choose 4-6-3 double-play, grounder, place ball, safe. home, advanced by batter, there correctly is no RBI and is a GDP in the stats, but there is an RBI incorrectly recorded on the scorecard.

And if you do the same 4-6-3 quick play, but choose line drive, you get the same results, no RBI and a GDP in stats, and an RBI on the scorecard. A weird play, I guess, but it should have an RBI and no GDP. Are quick plays, by design, only for ground outs?
