Making corrections during a game

Somehow I missed scoring a run. I must not have noticed that it didn't change from safe at third to safe at home when I checked what happened to the runner. I didn't notice I was short a run until the next inning. Is there a way to go back to edit that play while I am still scoring the game without having to undo everything to that point?
Also, is there a way to enter that there is a run rule in effect or do I have to hit end inning?
Thanks!

Misc-End Inning is the proper way to end an inning due to the run rule. You can add a note if you wish.
There are many things you can edit post games, but unfortunately you can not make "game changing" edits. i.e. you can't add runs, make an out, etc. In your case you have two options. You can manually edit the stats. This will not change your play by play, but the runner can get credit for the run and the batter can be given credit for the RBI if appropriate.
Your other option is to rescore the game from that point on. This is actually pretty easy if you use the existing scorecard and play-by-play as your roadmap. Just undo to the point where the run was missed. Make your correction and then re-score from that point on.

So if in the future if I have a mistake and I catch it before I end the game, there is no way to go back and fix it without undoing everything to that point, correct?

There are plenty of corrections that can be made post game. Adding a run to the score is not one of them. This is not something we would expect people to miss too often --- a run scoring is a pretty significant event. We do expect people to mark something as a base hit and later determine it was an error (or vice versa), or correct missed substitutions, etc. You can change how/why a runner wound up at a base, but you can not change the base a runner wound up at on a play.
Here is a link that describes the different ways you can edit data post game:
