Better Picasa support for Team Websites

Post by FTMSupport » Sat Apr 14, 2012 1:44 am

You can now share your Picasa photo albums on your iScore Team Website page in the Photos tab in a much easier way, and in a way that is compatible with all devices and browsers (including IE and iPhone / iPads). To do so, here are the steps:

1. Log in to your Picasa account, and decide which albums you want to share

2. Make sure you set the Visibility of the Picasa album to be either "Public on the web", or "Limited, anyone with the link"

3. In a separate browser window, log into your Team Website using your Admin password, and select the Photos tab

3. Copy the URL of each Picasa album you want to share into the new Picasa section of the Photos tab --- put each album you want to share on a separate line

4. Click the "Save Picasa Settings" button to save your settings

The Picasa Albumus will now be available to viewers of your Team Website.

I set this up on our team website, added two albums and the albums show up seperate under the photos button and I can click on the either album and see thumbnails of all the pictures but when I try and clink on a picture to see a bigger version the screen goes darker and the bigger picture in below the thumbnails and is also darker. if I click anywhere on the page it closes the bigger picture and returns to normal. This only happens with IE 8, and 9. If I use Chrome it works correctly, when I click on a thumbnail they all get darker but I can see a bigger picture and can start a slide show.
