New member a little confused

Post by rskjackson » Tue Apr 03, 2012 12:32 pm

Downloaded Iscore for baseball to my iphone after reading some good reviews from some members who play Strat-o-Matic with this. Trying it out during a game and working fine, until I'm trying to put in a pinch hitter for the pitcher.
I only put in the players who were in the starting line-up when I began the game, but replaced a pitcher earlier in the game fine...adding him to the roster at the time. However, as I'm trying to pinch hit for that pitcher, I added another players name to the roster but he's not showing up when I go to put in the sub to hit? I've looked at the instructions and everything I know to do and simply as lost as to what I'm not doing correctly.
Do I have to have all of the players in the roster already in place before starting the game? If so...why did the pitching change work?
I think I'm going to like this scoring program...if I can get past a couple of these questions. Thanks in advance!

Make sure when you add the "bench players" that you add them with Batting = NO. Offensive subs are only available when you have players in the lineup with Batting = NO. Defensive subs can be done even with players that are not in the batting lineup, so our best guess is that you did not set the batting flag correctly.

None of the extra players I added (again when the game was already in progress) are listed as batting. When I go to pinch hit for the pitcher, none of the other players are listed in the menu. However, they are listed in the team manager in the roster tab.

Are you adding the new players to the starting lineup or exiting the game and adding them to the roster? Changes to the roster will not affect games already set up or in process. You can add players to the game lineup, pres misc, starting lineup. If you want those changes to appear in the team manager, press copy lineup to roster after making your additions.
