How to score this . . .

The batter hits a line shot to RF. The right fielder comes in and snags it on 1 short hop - then immediately fires to 1B for the out.
1a) Marking it as "Out, Line, 9-3" shows up in the "Pitch By Pitch" as: "#10 x-name" hits a line Drive to the right fielder "#9 y-name" for an out.
1b) Marking it as "Out, Ground Out, 9-3" shows up in the "pitch By Pitch" as: "#10 x-name" grounds out on the throw RF "#9 y-name" to 1B "#3 y-name".
In both cases, the scorecard indicates PO and Assist numbers correctly - but in the "P x P" description - it gets it wrong when indicating the hit ball as a (1 hop) line drive rather than a (hard) ground ball. Am I wrong in thinking that a "Line Drive" is different than a hard grounder? I usually think of a hard grounder as one that gets thru the infield - on the ground - - - and a liner as one that gets thru the infield in the air. I would believe a batter would like to be "acknowledged" with a line drive - rather than a grounder.
Also, am I imagining this . . . when did iScore correctly change the hit description on an infield pop-out from F-4 to P-4 .... ?
