player card shows two different dates on card?

Player cards, under batting stats, the left column has a date, it's probably the date I entered the data because I'm using a score book and entering later, until I get the program down. At the bottom, under Fielding stats, it has a two different dates, the one I put in when I start and end the game in the far right hand column along with who we played... the other date is in the far left hand column, probably the date I entered the data? How can I get those dates to correlate? I'd like them both to be in order of when the games were played and the schedule would then matches.

It's confusing when looking and trying to figures out how they did in a game when reading the fielding stats, then going up and comparing their batting in that same game. You have to count down and go across because there are no team names in the batting stats, nor do the dates correlate?

How can I fixed this…

Thanks guys

This relates directly to the dates questions you asked earlier.

The date on the right side is actually part of the game name. That is automatically created when creating the game and is based on the SCHEDULED start date that was entered for the game.

The dates on the left of all columns are the actual dates, and I would assume these are based on the ACTUAL START date (which, as I pointed out in your other post) can be adjusted as needed.

Nothing is locked in to the date you actually entered the data.

Once a game is created though, the title of the game will not update automatically with date changes. You can manually edit that field to the correct date, however.

Yes, i went and changed all the scheduled dates and entered the game date along with start time and finish times, then backed out, closed the program and re-opened.. what it did do was put them in order as to when they were actually played and they are all now in order... this was great...

but it didn't do anything to the dates on the left side of both the batting stats and the fielding stats on the card. So i don't think the dates on the left are the start dates because I entered all them and that's where I got the date on the right and the games put back into proper order.

I must be missing or skipping something? when viewing the game info screen all the dates appear to be correct, top line showing a dates and the two teams, (same dates now as scheduled, start and ended dates) down in the body under Game Dates, Scheduled, Started and Ended dates and times are all correct. I just can't see anywhere else to make changes and have no idea where the dates on the far left are entered but it appears they are the dates I actually entered the information off my scorebook..

The dates on the left are sporadic and I actually entered them sporadically thinking id didn't matter when they were entered, only when they were scheduled and played?

Yeah, you seem to be correct. Will need FTM to chime in.

Making changes to all of the dates but none of them change the date on the player card. If you change the name of the game, it does get updated.

The date that shows is not based on the date entered though. It appears to be based on the original schedule date of the game. Its just that changing this date in the game info screen doesn't update it.

Personally, I think the game date on the player card, SHOULD BE based on the ACTUAL START date that is recorded and should be update-able.

Lets see what FTM thinks...

You would need to do a Recalc on the stats to get the stat date to update with a manually changed start date.
