Swinging Strikes Stats

Post by gwright » Thu Mar 08, 2012 12:31 pm

Since the database is populated with data regarding the nature of each strike, is there a way to access those statistics? Swinging strikes v. fouls v. called strikes have become popular pitching statistics, but I can't seem to find a way to access that data. Thanks!

The different types of strikes appear on the scorecard with different shading in the strike squares, but we do not report on them statistically.

There are two third party add ons that can take the iScore data and give you this kind of Analytic data however. One is http://edgehq.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, and the other is True Media Networks (http://www.trumedianetworks.com/scoring-applications/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).
