starting w/ 8 players only but ending w/ 9
starting w/ 8 players only but ending w/ 9
We started w/ 8 players but then on the 4th inning the 9th player came. I couldnt insert him in the batting order and so just continued scoring until the game ended so now the boxscores reflect the stats one batter in advance. How do i correct it? Thanks!

Re: starting w/ 8 players only but ending w/ 9
The way to do that would have been to go to Misc -> Show Starting Lineup and adding him to the end of your lineup. You can do that at any time. You can not add a player in the middle of a lineup (we have never seen rules that allow that either), but adding him to the end of the lineup is fine.
Now that you have already scored the players all out of order however, it is going to be tricky to fix it. We store the at bat results with the "lineup position", and it sounds like you continued the entire game scoring with only 8 lineup positions.
Your best best is probably to Undo back to the point in the game that the player arrived, add him to the end of the lineup, then re-score from that point forward. You can use the scorecard as a guide to help re-enter the data.
