Pitch type

Post by Reds Fan » Fri Oct 21, 2011 12:40 pm

Can some one tell me where the pitch type shows up in reports or what it's main use is. I like having the ability to designate what type of pitch was thrown but notw sure what it's benefits/use is for.

Shows up on the speckle chart for the pitcher both in app and on the scorecard in the pitchers section. If you happen to use an analytics add on (like EdgeHQ), they also make use of the pitch type data.
