iScore Doesn't Launch
iScore Doesn't Launch
iTunes recently updated my iOS to 4.3.3 and now iScore won't open. When I click on the icon my screen flashes and then I am returned to my home screen.
Help? I don't want to loose all of my data!

Re: iScore Doesn't Launch
welcome to the forum
i am running iOS 4.3.3 on iPad 1 and it is working just fine. so there is hope.
what device are you using it on.. (device and model .. ipad 1 or 2)
Suggest you give your device a hard reset (hold power button down) till slide to off.
then try again,
also when was the last time you option exported, if you are "up to date" worry not, your data is all safe on the iscore server and worse case scenario we can walk you through re installing the software and importing data back..
report back how the hard reset works and we can go from there

Re: iScore Doesn't Launch
I have restarted my iPad a few times. (It's an iPad 1.)
How do I know if I'm "up to date". I use iScore every week, but don't regularly do any sort of save.

Re: iScore Doesn't Launch
If needed, I can mount my iPad as a drive and backup an individual file if needed.

Re: iScore Doesn't Launch
We run iOS 4.3.3 all the time with no issues. You can check to make sure you are running the latest version of iScore by going to the App Store on your device, and see if it show that any updates are available. If so, you can updated right from there.
Before doing the update, did you perform a backup of your device? Does it allow you to revert? You could revert, do an Options -> Export from within iScore to make sure the latest data is on our servers, then do the upgrade again.

Re: iScore Doesn't Launch
I have the latest version. No updates are available. I don't know when I did my last export. (I'm an idiot)
It doesn't let me revert. I am OK uninstalling and reinstalling iScore. Since I can't do an export, is there a specific file I can back up from the iPAD's filesystem and restore later to restore my data? Maybe the iScore_baseball.sqlite file?

Re: iScore Doesn't Launch
Yes, if you email us that file, we can place it on the server for you to restore to your device after a re-install. How is it you are accessing that file? We thought it was only available if you jailbreak your device.

Re: iScore Doesn't Launch
I didn't jailbreak my iPad, I used iPhone Explorer. It allows you to traverse the filesystem on your iPad or iPhone. What information do you need to be able to do the restore?

Re: iScore Doesn't Launch
Just need you to email us the sqlite file, and let us know your customer ID (found on Options screen).

support@iscoresports.com?
As for the customer ID, I can't start the application so I can't select options. Is there another way?
