Several concerns

Know these probably belong in different locations in this forum, but ….
1. I wasn’t able to attend some games one weekend so I used the scorekeepers paper sheet and entered games a week later. Afterwards I adjusted the date and times of the game to when they correctly occur, but in the player stats they still show up as the later dates when I entered the data on the game. Can that be corrected still?
2. When I use the quick button to record an out. Why, when I record the location of the hit is the default setting line drive when I’ve already hit the 6-3 Ground out button? If this is going to be quicker, shouldn’t the default be set to grounder? It takes an extra entry to get it over to grounder.
3. What is the correct way of scoring a play where the runner tags on a fly, but leaves the base early before the ball is caught and then it is appealed and the umpire rules the runner out? I figured the leaving base early button is for softball when a runner leads off before the pitch is thrown. Say the center fielder catches the ball and the runner on second doesn’t get back to the base in time, it would be an 8-6or4 force out? Would you record it the same for an appeal play?
4. When do we anticipate a fix on the stats for double plays? I can get them to show up relatively correctly on the scorecard, but I still have issues with put outs and assists showing up correctly in the stats.
5. I’m having trouble on the website for showing games and stats from individual tournaments. It seems that the last tournament we played shows up correctly, but every tournament before that shows that tournament’s games plus every game that followed it in later tournaments.

That's about it for now.

#1 - go to Game Manager, select the game, and adjust the Start/End dates for the game. Then view the stats and do a Recalc to get the dates set correctly for the stats

#2 - this is fixed for the next release

#3 - yes, left base early is for softball, but you could use it in this situation if you want. or you can use force out.

#4 - which specific example is not getting assists and put outs correct for you on a double play?

#5 - Go into each of the games in Game Manager, and make sure only the correct "Leagues" are selected for each of the games. It sounds like you have some leagues selected for some games that should not be selected.

#1 took me a while to figure out where to find RECALC on my droid, but once there that fixed it.
#3 probably need to clarify with softball scorekeeper expert.
#4 I'll come up with some for you. But try entering 6 unassisted lead runner at second and then 6-3 to get the second out.
#5 I had the teams and players assigned to leagues, but didn't have the games right. That should fix it once I do another export and import, I would guess.

Thanks.

#3 correct. is 8-6(or 4) out. assist to 8, put out to 6 (or 4). it is not technically a "force out" but a live ball., appeal failed to retouch. . but for iscore practical purposes using force out (FO#) works just fine for me on the scorecard (i get the drift) . i know others that used left base early (LBE), and it works for them on the scorecard . regardless the assist and put pout are credited and the stats are good. ..

ixamnis - I have been scoring double plays as 6-3 ground out -> double play. (when the short stop records an unassisted double play) all season long. Are you saying that this is short changing the SS his putout on the lead runner? I have not really scrutinized the stats closely enough to answer that myself and I'm too lazy to dig through 80 games to try and find an example :)

@webshowpro 6-3 out should be fine if you are talking about a typical 6-3 double play (SS fields, tags, and throws) and enter it correctly

set up.., no out, runner 1 on first. bater 2 at plate. batter grounds in to a 6-3 double play. runner at first out (tag or forced) by shortstop fielding the batted ball, and then throwing to first to get the force on the batter

Normal entry
out > ground out> location? >next > SS-1B done >
what happen to runner on first ? > out > second > Double play

stats show , Put Out for 1st basemen, put out and assist for second short stop and score card has outs in correct order and DP 6-3 on bater 2 and GDP on bater 2

similar using swipe out
swipe out > 6-3 groud out > location > out > second > double play

stats show same as above.

Thank you again Ohio - fortunately I was actually doing it right for once!
