Last night during a double header I got distracted and fell behind in the first half of an inning. I went over and checked with the other scorekeeper to make sure everything was kosher. He said 3 runs scored. I did not think that was right so I asked him - who was left on first and third? He said yes. I made sure I had the correct batter coming up the next inning and thought I was all set.
We went on to bat around, and score 7 runs. The score keeper then comes over to verify the score after our half of the inning. This time he had 4 runs in there half (which I though was correct initially) - I confirmed with the coach that the runner I had left on third did indeed score.
I tried to go back and correct in the pitch by pitch, but I could not figure out a way to get the box score corrected. We had way too many hitters to try and undo each of them and rescore it. So I manually updated the individual stats, and fixed the score in the email before I forwarded it to the the coaches.
Did I miss something or is the only way to correct an error like this to undo then redo everything?

Re: Missed a Run
for better or worse, you did not miss anything.that is the software's limitations at this time
pitch by pitch does not let you make game changing edits after the fact due to dependendices
(e.g change a stranded runner from un scored to scored at this time.).
overriding the stats allows you to manually adjust individual statistics but does not update the line score, box score, scorebook or play by play
That is just where the software is in its development, FTM has continued to improve editing in each release and i suspect will continue with future updates, but for now... you did not miss anything.

Thanks... I did not think I did, but figured it was worth asking...
