Batting substitutions

Post by Deskto74 » Tue Jun 14, 2011 8:32 am

I am new to IScore and am using it on an IPad. I'm having trouble with batting substitutions. I tried clicking on the batter and a list of the players pops up along with the fielding positions. I don't want to change fielding positions, though. Just batting. I've looked thru some of the other posts on this site and they mention a button to use to select offensive or defensive substitutions. I haven't seen that on my version. Am I just missing it? Thanks!

It sounds like you have everyone in your line up batting. is that true? When everyone in a teams line up is batting, you will not see the Offense/Defense toggle button . this is because most all leagues require batting line ups to stay the same once set. if you go back to starting line up (misc > show starting line up or pitch by pitch > game starts > edit starting line up). you can add a new player and set them to bat = no. or you can change some of your players to bat = no. once you have a bench then you can make batting substitutions

If you have not watched the training videos on line, I highly recommend them.
