Deleting Old Teams/Players

Post by cdave » Tue May 03, 2011 2:36 pm

I have been using iScore for 3 years now and am up to 25 leagues, 50 teams, 724 players and 96 games. What is the best way to delete some of the older teams that we played against and alot of the older players that we no longer play with? I want to maintain the stats for all of the games and my son's teams, but don't want the all of the old data "cluttering" the program.

I use leagues extensively to control this, however, I would like to start deleting some of the older data, without losing the stats. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

In order to keep the stats, you would have to keep the data as well. One way to do this would be to create a league called "Old Data", and just move anything you don't want to see any more into that league (removing it from the other leagues). If you ever wanted to recover the data, you could always put it back in other leagues as well. If you want to report on old data, just re-enable that league as well.
