I tried using the I-scorecast while scoring a game today. No wi-fi connection at ballpark and HTC Inspire connects to internet through Edge network. I syncronized after the first inning and it took over 2 minutes. I tried again an inning and a half later and it was very slow. only up to around 3 or 4 percent after two minutes. I had to restart the phone as I could not stop the syncronization. Do others have trouble synchronizing during a game and how long does it usually take?

You do not have to synchronize during the game. Just make sure iScorecast is on before beginning scoring, and every pitch automatically goes up to the server.

I have tried to synchronize during games before when someone reports to me that the iScorecast is not working. It does take a long time. It is difficult to sync during a half inning changeover. It actually takes longer to sync a single game that it does to export the entire database and I have around 100 games in my database.

@ petroguy, interesting. my experience is just the opposite.. I feel like my EXPORT takes forever and game iscore synch faster. I Have not ever done a controlled time test, but perhaps an interesting thing to try sometime.
