Hoping for some assistance...

Post by JTJT » Sun Apr 10, 2011 4:35 am

Hello -
I have an older IPod Touch (v2) and I used it for scoring my son's games last season. All the data is online on the IScore site...but it is not on my IPod anymore and I can't get it to transfer over. I've done the export/import drill and it says "success" but the data is still not on my IPod.

Any thoughts? Thank you...

Welcome to the board.

Check your league settings on your iPod Touch to assure the "all" league is checked.

the gen 2 itouch should be just fine. (i have one myself).

after you double check leagues, what you want to check next is that you are importing the right customer id info. your device id matches the id you use to log into the external admin web site

if you are sure the data is on the external admin server and you know the customer id you use to access the external id is the same as your device id, then a simple import will overwrite your local device with what is on the server.

One thing to note: if by having done "the Export/Import drill" you mean you hit "Export" from you machine that has nothing, then hit "Import", you would have wiped out your data on the servers. Hopefully you meant "Import drill" only. Good luck.
