Is the viewer count on the website based on unique users or a total hits so if one person surfs then comes back are they adding to the total viewer count twice or more? I had a high number of viewers and my scoring colleagues were skeptical of the number of viewers.

Depends on who provides your web page view counter and how they handle it...do you recall what view counter you use...Last I saw FTM did not provide a view counter for team sites
P.s. I use a free counter from statcounter.com that sends me emails of usage and breakdown By day total and average for Unique, first time and returning visitors.

It was the counter that came with the site
http://data.iscorecentral.com/iscorecas ... df6162b4ac" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
When I go to our team site and click on games/iscorecast using my iPad to check the game info i sent it has a viewers count on the bottom left of the window

K. for clarity to others, the question is on the number of viewers counter on the HTML iscorecast, not the team web site.. I defer to FTM on how they 'technically' count there..

The counts on the iScorecast are "page views". If one person goes to the site multiple times, they would be counted each time they go to the site. Sitting on the page and watching the game would only count as one view, but leaving the site and coming back would count as a second view.
