double scorebook entry

Dont ask me how but after a completed game I have a player listed twice in my stats. I now show that he has played 1 more game than the rest of the team and thus my his stats are skewed. I need to remove the duplicate entry to correct the stats. Is this something I can do, if so how, or do I need to send my login information to your guys in an e-mail to have it fixed on your end.

Thanks,

We can try and trouble shoot here. but need more details.

I think what you need to do is merge players.
Turn on "all" leagues, then look at player manager and see if you have 'two instances' of same player, if so use the merge button (bottom left of screen) to combine them. follow on screen instructions..

if this is not it provide more details as to where you are seeing the duplication, Web site or handheld, if hand held, is it when viewing stats from Team Manager, Player Manager or Game Manager, if duplicative in a game, is it duplicated in bating, fielding and pitching stats or just one or two? what does the starting line up for the game show..

again, my first guess is duplicative player and need to merge, but if not we can go from there

He is listed only once under player manager.

Where I see his name twice is under game manager now that the game is completed. His name is listed under the batting and fielding stats. On his individual player card under player manage he is credited acurately with playing in 6 games, same as everyone else. When I go under team manager, team stats he is shown as playing in 7 games. I have identified the game we played Thursday night as the event where is is listed twice. The admin site doesnt show you much as it doesnt burrow deep enough into the states to reveal this issue. I can email the team stats sheet and his indvidual player card to you if that will help. I am probably not making myself very clear

Disregard my previous BS, I figure it out. Heres how in case anyone else is a dumb as I and make he same mistake

1. I went to game manager - game played 3/3-/11
2. Undo
3. Misc show starting lineup
4. Deleted the duplicate name, it was irrelevant because it only showed him playing a game but no stats on the second entry.
5. Ended the game and exited and now team stats correctly reflect that he played 6 games this season!!

Sorry to take up your time with this, you guys are great!

great. but before we close the book on this..

was he showing up twice in the same game on the same team's starting line up, (i did not think that was possible) or was he on both teams line ups (what i typed up as my next guess, before you updated us.)...

Also, By the way you can always review starting line ups through pitch by pitch editor after the game, you do not have to "undo" . Here is how.. game manager > select game > pitch by pitch > game starts > starting line up edit . ( this is the preferred post game way to review/fix line up and substitution mistakes)

Yes same tm same roster was in line up twice at same time but showed the same player twice in same game. Second entry had no stats other that under G column 1 for wax entry thus showed him one additional game under tm stats
