similar to previously posted league question

Post by coach1 » Fri Apr 01, 2011 3:46 am

Our middle school team is devided into two teams, varsity and junior varsity. Due to abilities and need we sometimes have players paying on both teams. I dont want the stats intermingled when a varsity player is playing in a jv game. is the solution to show players on both rosters, create seperate leagues for jv and varsity (2011 varsity) and (2011 jv) and assign the two teams to their respective league or is there an easier way? Thanks again for all your help!

That is it. Leagues are perfect for this.

The most important thing is to assign each game to the right league, jv or varsity.
( worry not, if you forget, you can assign the leagues at anytime, pre, during or post game)

Later when you view a player stats, through player manager, player card stats, you can filter which stats you see...if both jv and varsity leagues are enqbled will see the players total stats, or if just one league is enabled (eg varsity) will just see the stats for those games ( eg varsity)

Later when you view team stats through team manager, will just see players who have played for that team (jv or varsity) and their stats for just those games..
