Import team rosters from excel

Post by Jja » Tue Mar 29, 2011 8:55 pm

I am new to the app.

Is there a way to import all of the team rosters in advance of the start of the season?

Also, if I want to score only my teams side of the inning can I do that and not worry about scoring the other team?

You can use the Admin Website to create your teams online.

1. Do an Options->Export from your device
2. Log in to the Admin Website (see Options->Admin Website on device for info)
3. Go to Teams tab and make any edits you like... there is a "batch player add" option there
4. Do an Options->Import back to your device when you are done.

You can use Misc->End Inning when the other team comes up to bat if you do not want to score for them. That would mean you are not going to get pitching stats for your own team however.

Not scoring the opponent at bats, also means you will not get fielding stats For your team ( errors, put outs assists, pick offs, throw out steaking etc.,etc) of course too...

Just to add to this, you can copy/paste from Excel into the box that is used for "Batch Player Add". I do this all of the time and it is very convenient.

Batch player add is found on the admin web site , it is the multiple helmet icon with the plus sign on it...
