Changing scoring using play by play

I entered a game I didn't attend from a scorebook kept by a parent. One of the players hit an in the park homer but based on her notations I thought it was an E7 for four bases. The coach told me it should have been scored an in the park homer. I went back to change it but it will only let me change it to a single. Is there a work around?

in the current versions of iScore, the pitch-by-pitch editor only lets you hit single to error or error to hit single... you can not convert multi base hit to single plus error. or error to multi base it.

however, the next version of iscore for iOS devices (already submitted to apple) will reportedly allow conversion of multi base hit to single plus error. ftm will need to confirm if it can go the other way, allow you to convert multi base error to multi base hit ( not sure).

if you are on an iOS device, it may be easiest to wait a few days and update (for free) and then use pitch by pitch editor. if you can't wait, you can manually override stats to reduce the error by 1 and increase the hits/home runs by 1 as appropriate for the respective players

The next version will allow changing multi base hit to hit + error, but not from multiple errors to a multi-base hit (that would cause additional issues as errors can have impacts on other potential base runners and other similar considerations).

For changing a 4 base error into a home run, it would require the direct stat editing approach, and putting a note on the play saying it was a homerun.
