Twitter feed and gamecast feed not working

I just bought Iscorebaseball for an Android device and am impressed with it's ease of use. I am trying to set up the Twitter feature. When I set it up and pressed the Send Test Tweet it went through no problem. However, my friend tells me that his will automatically send a Tweet when he starts scoring a game...How do you do that? I can't seem to get a Tweet out except through the Send Test Tweet button. Also, during the game, I've tried to send a tweet...the words Tweet flash on the screen, but never come through to Twitter.

Finally, How does Gamecast work? I have the button set to On on the I-Scorecast, but never see it come up on the Administration site. Is this something that only works with a team site?

Any help you can provide is much appreciated.

Do you have wifi/3g internet connection continuous during scoring?

Thanks for the reply...I believe so, it's on an HTC EVO on the Sprint Network. When I do the Send Test Tweet, it goes through fine, so I would think it's communicating OK.

Iscorecast is available for free to all users, does not require team web site subscription.

Iscorecast is broadcast real time if you have an Internet connection and iscorecast enabled in options.. But the URL is different than the admin site.

In the middle of scoring a game, misc > email game link... Will send a game specific link to provided email address.

Pre, during and post game, you have a device specific URL for both flash and non flash (mobile) devices that has a menu of games

The games are broadcast real time when you have iscorecast option enabled and have good Internet connectivity. After a game or when back connected to Internet, you can force iscorecast update from the bottom of the game info screen, using iscorecast synch selection

When you have Twitter enabled, and you also have iScorecast enabled, it will automatically send a tweet at the beginning of the game when you press play to announce the game. When the game is over, it will automtically send a tweet saying the game is over. If iScorecast is not enabled, the automatic tweet will not be sent.

You can also send the tweets at any time by selecting the Send Tweet option, and it will send the current status of the game. Make sure on the Options screen that Twittercast is set to ON.

For the iScorecasts, if you go to Options-> i-ScoreCast on your device, it will give the URL and Customer ID needed to view the iScorecasts for your game. This requires internet connectivity while scoring in order for the game to be sent out live.

If you scored a game and the i-Scorecast was not created, you can still send it up to the iScorecast server by going go Game Manager, selecting the game, and selecting "i-Scorecast Syncrhonize". This will send the full game up to the server and it can be viewed as a replay.

OK...I see how the scorecast works, that's awesome...now I've deauthorized the Twitter feed...however, I am trying to set it up again, but the authentication keeps failing and it says the userid/password are having problems authenticating. I've triple checked and I know my userid and password are correct. Once you deauthorize a user, can you re-authorize that user? I would think so, but just want to make sure.

Yes, reauthorizing is fine. We have de-authorized and re-authorized several times in succession without issues. Sounds like possibly having internet connectivity issues or Twitter is having an issue if you are sure the user name and password you are entering are correct.

Yes, kind of frustrating...both the IScorecast is on, the Twitter feed is On, I have sent a Test Tweet that went through fine, I tried to send another test tweet and it said I already sent one and it went fine (which it did), but when I start a new game and hit Play, no tweet gets sent saying I am starting to score a game. In addition, when I send a Tweet during the game from the Tools button and nothing comes through.
I love the program, just wish I could untap the Tweets!
