welcome to the board and iScore on iPad.
(FTM posted before me, but think i will go ahead and post in case it helps)
Ssounds like you are coming up to speed on the product, but may need to play with leagues some more and may want to consider a team web site subscription.
Players can absolutely be tracked season by season and their stats filtered by what we call leagues for season to season or career stats. this is true in all versions of iscore. (see FAQ on League tips for ideas, example
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1531" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).
Career team stats are available "if"... if you use the same team year to year and never remove a player from the roster. As this is your first year, i would start there. ( even if "released" from the team, leave players on the roster). then like with players, when you group games into leagues, you can see team stats by league (ie League2010=2010 year) or lifetime (league =all).
one downside to this endless team, is your roster over time may get filled with former inactive players, and if you own a team web site subscription, all rostered players (active or inactive) show up on the team site. An idea that has been surfaced and is on FTM list is the notion of capability to mark some roster players as inactive/ archived. by the time you get to multiple years, they may have added a new feature to handle that. Also if you choose to recreate teams each year, you can later merge them into one if you want/need. (but that is not reversible). you an also email yourself stats and combine manually in excel.
So the answer is more yes than no on ability to have team career stats.
team win- loss record is available on the team web site subscription under games tab at the top of the game list, however you are correct it is not on the team stats on the device itself, that is an interesting idea for future consideration. I could see it on the Team Stats Page Above the batting stats, Not sure if just Win Loss tie total or if you create a table that lists the games too ..
