Background:
We have been scoring our games on one of two ipads. Ipad#1 is what is linked to our team website. Whenever we score a game on Ipad#2, we upload the results to the web. I then retrieve the data from the web with Ipad#1 and finally upload to the team website using the data which is now up to date on Ipad#1.
Issue:
After last night's game, I followed the procedure listed above. Unfortunately, after I imported the data from Ipad#2 and uploaded to the team website, we noticed some mistakes that were made while scoring the game (user entry). The user of Ipad#2 made the edits and then re-uploaded to web. I then attempted to retrieve the new (edited) data with Ipad#1 so I could export to the team website. When I tried retrieving the data with Ipad#1 from the website, it said there was "no new game data". From this I concluded that since I had already downloaded the game data (prior to the edits), that Ipad#1 was not able to descern that any edits had been performed and thus didn't recognize that there was any "new game data". I then deleted this game on Ipad#1 so it would "appear" that the game on the website "was new" and thus download it. Everything was working well up to this point. When I went to the website with Ipad#1 to download the new edited data, it did in fact recognize that there was a new game. It then asked me to confirm the mapping and replied with a message indicating that the download was successful. Unfortunately, when I went to game manager the game did not show up. I tried this several times and was not able to get the "new edited" game to show up on Ipad#1.
Sorry for the long post but I wanted to be as complete as possible. Any ideas on things to try?
Thanks

Re: Data sharing issue
There is actually an issue with the current release that is fixed with v3.09 which is currently awaiting approval from Apple. When a game is deleted with v3.0, a flag is set on the game saying it is deleted instead of actually deleting the game. With v3.0, the data sharing does not properly handle the deleted flag --- it expects that the game is truly deleted, and therefore fails when doing the data share.
As soon as the update is approved by Apple (we are hoping any day now), then what you did is exactly the right steps. If you can wait for Apple's approval, then you will just be able to do the Data Share as you would expect after having deleted the game.
If you do not want to wait, we actually made the "Tuneup" option on the Admin Website truly remove deleted games from your device, and then the data transfer would work. To use this option, here are the steps to follow:
1. Do an Options->Export from the device you deleted the game on
2. Log in to the Admin Website (see Options->Admin Website from within iScore to see how to log in to the admin website for your account... you will enter the information there into a browser on a computer)
3. Click the Tuneup tab, then click the Optimize Now button
4. Do an Options->Import to copy the optimized data back to your device
You should then be able to do the data sharing for the game.

So much easier to help when people provide the level of detail you did... thank you.
