scouting and batting order

Prior to getting iScore, I would jot down the lineup as the batters would enter the game. I would do this as the teams I was watching (scouting) would not be sharing the lineups prior to the start.
How would I do this in iScore if I have player entered for these teams from a prior game? Is there a way to change the batting lineup once i start scoring the game? I would assume that iScore would take the batting lineup from the most previous game and default to it for the next game.

You can create as many "opponent teams" as you would like. iScore will track them all. So if you face the same team multiple times, you would be able to select that opponent when creating a new game, and it will take their lineup from the last time you faced them as the default lineup for the next time.
If you are facing a new team, what many people do is use the "Quick Roster" option which will create a team of player (like Player 1 -> Player 12), and as each player comes to the plate, you can modify their jersey number and/or name. If you can at least find out the number of batters that will be batting it makes things easier even if you don't know their names.
During the game, you can use the Misc button, then press "Show Starting Lineup" to make starting lineup changes. Do not confuse this with substitutions as it will actually change the players that started the game. When a player is subbed in, you should us the substitution methods, not modify the starting lineup for these changes.

Couple add on tips/ points that may help a 'scouter'
If scoring a game and find out After the fact, batter #3 was Timmy, and you have this specific Timmy in your player manager from a prior time, perhaps a different team or year... You can merge the two Timmy players into one. You do this after the game in player manager using the merge button (bottom left button on player manager screen). Then select the two timmys on the following screen.
If scoring a game and you see the on deck batter is timmy, (before Timmy has batted) you could quickly go to misc starting line up, add player, find Timmy in player list, and insert him into the proper batting position real time in the game
You use add player, before Timmy has an at bat, you use merge player after a game. (if you find out mid game it is Timmy, label the player with a very descriptive name, in misc show starting line up, then use the merge player feature after the game, to merge the two timmys)
Hope this helps

iscore using the order in the team roster, not necessarily the batting order of the last game played. If you want to save the batting order for the next game, go to misc option, copy roster, and it will save that order for the next game.
To change a batter's order, you click on the starting lineup and drag the player up or down the list by tapping and holding on the right side of their name line.
