Data sharing between iPad/iphone
Data sharing between iPad/iphone
I've just completed scoring 2 games on my iPad. I want to share the results on my iPhone. However, when I go thru the data sharing, the game data is not transferred. That is, the game stats are not brought into my iPhone?? What am I doing wrong?

J-Man,
IPad to iPhone doesn't work. I think the limitation is in the bluetooth. Try sharing via the web.
See viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1307" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for more information.
Cheers,
Jason

Yes,I am using via web. I did it previously and the games came over just fine. However, now that the games are done, the data won't come over.

Re: Data sharing between iPad/iphone
When you use the "Get from Web Database", is it just not displaying the newly scored games? We have noticed something that people have started doing... if you data share games that have not yet been scored, and then try and data share again after they are scored, the device thinks you have already transferred the game so does not list it again. If this is what you are experiencing, you should delete the game on the device you are trying to copy to (there is no actual game data there anyway), then go through the data sharing steps again to pull the updated game onto the device.

Yes, that is exactly what I'm experiencing! I followed your steps and it worked like a charm! Did I do this improperly, or is that something that will be addressed in a future patch?

Re: Data sharing between iPad/iphone
It is actually working the way we intend it to work. We do not want people accidentally overwriting games, so we do not show games that already exist on a device. If you want to copy a game from another device that already exists on your device, you need to delete it from your device first. It is a safety precaution for customers.
