Appeal Play

Situation: Runner on 2nd, 2 outs, batter hits a triple. Runner scores batter/runner standing on 3rd. Defense appeals b/r missed 1st, called out on appeal.

Question: Run scores because appeal is a time play?
Is batter credited with hit? RBI?
How would you do this in iScore?

Since the b/r never reached first, this is not a time play. The run shouldn't score.
