iPhone interruptions

Post by Paulsilas » Sat Feb 12, 2011 10:43 pm

Fairly new to iPhone and will score first real game on score this spring. What is the best way to avoid getting interruptions in the middle of scoring a game ( phone calls texts etc etc). I see where I could use airplane mode bug then iscorecast updates would not be sent. Any recommendations? Any other problems with using airplane mode? I have iphone4

Airplane Mode is the best way to avoid all interruptions, but as you noted, then you would have 3G turned off as well so iScorecast would be disabled. The best we can offer would be to just ignore calls if you are going to have iScorecast enabled. Or answer the call and go back to scoring quickly. With iOS4, multitasking allows you to go back to the exact spot your were scoring after the call. In fact, you can actually take a call and continue scoring if you use speaker or a bluetooth headset on AT&T iPhones (Verizon does not allow this, but AT&T does).

An added benefit of turning off 3G may be an extentsion of battery life as well, just a thought!
