enhancement requests

Okay, I have been using the Team Website for about 1 week and I am very happy with it. But, I would like to see the following:

1. Player's card photo: when I email a player's card, the photo of the player appears on the top left. I would like the option in the Team Website to view the player's photo when I click the hit chart for the individual player or in Statistics (just as if I was emailing the player photo). I say option because some user may not want the photo of the player to appear.

2. Roster:

a. The Roster tab currently defaults to the "current Roster." This roster will continue to grow since players come and go. I've notice when I go to the statistics and games tab, there is a drop down menu allowing the selection of the different leagues the team has competed. When you change the league, the statistics and the games stats change to the particular league the user has selected. This is a nice feature. However, the Roster's tab does not allow a drop down menu for the roster in the different leagues. Adding a drop down menu to the Roster tab, just as in statistics and games tab, and thus giving the ability of the user to change the roster according to the league selected would be great.

b. In Roster menu, there is no ability to see the individual player's statistics from this menu. In Statistics, however, a user can see the stats for the league selected. Adding to ability to see the stats as displayed when emailing a player's card would be a nice feature.

3. Iscorecast: Implement Iscorecast 9LIVE) into the Team Website. Right now for live games, I have a link in the main page directing other to Iscorecast. Once a user clicks the selection, iscorecast appears in a new page. Then, the user selects the game and then he is able to view the game live. I would like to see somewhere in the main page informing the user a live game is in progress and the ability to view the game.

All in all, I am very happy with the team website. It is simple and organized. Yet, it has a wealth of information for all to see. I think adding this feature will make the team website that much better..

Thank you for the feedback. Many of these things can be done and are on our enhancement list, or we will add based on your comments.

To set expectations, the one thing that will likely not be added is a "roster by league". We do not have that concept in iScore. If different leagues have different rosters, iScore would expect you to treat those as separate teams. We understand players come and go on a team, but for the team website, we would expect that you would either include all players that have been on the team (if you want to see stats for players that are no longer on the team), or you would only include currently active players on the roster (in which case only those player's stats would be seen).

in case you missed it, with a team website you get a specific iscorecast link for each game, (you do not have to send them to the iscorecast menu to choose a game, instead they can go straight to the game).. You can manually post the "live" games for the day on your home page. Here is an example of how one user does it.. http://iscorebaseball.com/bears" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; . he is using the HTML viewer instead of the flash viewer, but you can do similar with both.

Thank you for your response ohiotex.

1. Where is this specific iscorecast link for each game? I understand I have to export the data while in progress in order for iscorecast to appear in the games tab.

2. I have seen the link set up by the Bears. But, manually setting up each game is what I am trying to avoid. Hopefully, FTM can set it up where a use does not have to input each game manually.

You can embed an IFRAME on your home page that has a listing of all the current games. To do this, point the IFRAME to "http://data.iscorecentral.com/iscorecas ... tml?c=intl" or "http://data.iscorecentral.com/iscorecas ... php?c=intl" if you want to show the HTML version instead of the Flash version.

For others with Team Websites, just change "intl" to the name of your team website.

My original reminder point was if you have purchased a team web site, you get a unique link for each game.. ( you find the game specific link on the games Page of your team site after you export...)

The FTMs links provide a list of all your iscorecast games, with the most recent on top. (you can delete games from the list from your admin web site iscorecast tab)

(FTM, I had never tried to insert a team web site name into the c=? Stream before, only device I'd.. I found it interesting... When you replace "intl" with a team site name.. You get a list of all games on your device not just the "specific teams games" ie same results as if you used the device id, ie, not filtered by team.. Get list for all other team sites too. )

Yes, the "team name" shortcut just looks up the device ID associated with the team website and displays the games from that device. We may modify it in the future to actually filter to just games for that team.
