Stats with runners in scoring position.....

Post by Kvesecky » Mon Oct 11, 2010 9:33 pm

I am not sure why but..... All of a sudden the columns right of average in my team stats have basically zeroed out...... When I look at individual games it shows avg with runners in scoring position at bats etc..... Now..... Nothing..... What happened? I did the upgrade and I think since then it has gone away..... What can I do????? If you go to http://www.shstealth.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; click 11u and then tournament statistics you will see that the information was there.... Now it is gone.

Kvesecky -

thanks for the post, this is the first I have seen on the board of this type of issue. I have scored w/ IPad and most current version of software and my stats for runners in scoreing positions is there.

is the data all zeros on the handheld device too? (Game Manager > Batting Stats)

If zeros on handheld, FTM will need to look at your database. if you could do an export and then email FTM at support@iscorecentral.com , include your device ID and for ease of reference the name of the game in question and recap the issue.

if the stats are not zero on the handheld, can you describe how you get them to your web site (perhaps something in that process is off), (via email cut and paste of export, team web site, cut and paste, email csv file, etc.)

I assume you are using the iPad version, as you posted in this thread.

P.S. you must have some strong web/computer skills, web site looks nice.
good example of a non FTM purchased site, using iScore output.

You know that the names of some of the stats columns have changed in the files (EGA now ERA and ERA now ERA9) with the latest program. I didn't look to see if there were other changes, but if you are parsing the files looking for specific headers in a certain order then you may have a problem there. On my site I only take the raw numbers and then do all the calcs myself for avgs and such (since I need to recalc based on date ranges/games/etc anyway).

Thanks for the quick reply.
YES in the GAME MANAGER / TEAM BATTING , in ALL GAMES except the latest, everything right of AVG is zero..... the columns are ROE, FC, CI, GDP, GTP,AB/RSP,H/RSP,BA/RSP

Where do I find the device ID? I see the customer ID but not the device ID. When I do the export, the stats go to the my.iscorecentral.com site.
The export was done as recently as this am.
I have emailed you the user name and the password

I am hoping that this is what you are asking for..... but am not sure.

Thanks for the kudos on the website I have worked hard on it.

CustomerID = DeviceID, so that's what you want to send to FTM.

Are you exporting single games or are you exporting the team records?

The individual games used to have all the stats now they do not. My pitching columns on the right have all zeroed out as well. First pitch strikes etc..... Really weird

How do you get the stats to your web site?

We looked at your data, and the issue is that the "new stats" (things to the right of the AVG) are now coming from an internal table that stores all the stats after each game. We mentioned in the product release notes on the forum that there is a new Recalc button to update these statistics for Team Websites, but did not mention that team statistics are also effected by this.

One time, you will need to go to Team Manager, select your team, select Team Stats in the bottom left, then select Recalc in the upper right, then click Yes. This will recalculate statistics for all games for that team and update the internal stats tables.

Going forward you will not need to do this, and if you have a lot of games, you will notice a dramatic improvement in how quickly the stats come up when viewing Team Stats.

thanks FTM .. .I should have thought of the RECALC tip.

(I mis understood original post, I thought old games were ok, and new games were wrong, but with the clarification, "... ALL GAMES except the latest, everything right of AVG is zero..... " Recalc is it)

Again the steps to RECALC for a Team... (it recalcs all games for that team)
TEAM MANAGER >
SELECT TEAM >
TEAM STATS (bottom left button) >
RECALC (upper right button) >
YES -- if you have not done any stat 'overrides' (most likely)
NO -- if you have done some stat overrides
