RECAP screen

Post by kacolvin » Wed Oct 06, 2010 5:31 am

Just updated to the new version of iScore.
I am trying to understand the "RECAP" screen, and how this can help me.
Can someone explain what is displayed on this screen ?

What I am hoping for, is an easy way to see where the other team will be in thier lineup next inning.
Also, would like to easily see "last completed batter" to see who goes in as a "Curtesy Runner" (This is for Softball).

I was told this "RECAP" screen could do this.
I have not yet scored a game with the new version, so I am unsure if this data is available.

Thank You

The Recap Screen is more about what happend not what is coming up plus it breaks down pitches per inning that previously was not visible..

The Reacp screen is updated after every half inning and shows by half inning Runs, Hits, Errors, Left on Base PLUS the pitcher name and earned runs and pitch counts (ball, strikes and total) for the half inning and game to date total.

The Recap screen is accessed differently depending on which device you use....
on iPhone acccess recap by flicking the top banner to the right, and taping on Recap
on iPad, access the recap by taping on the circle icon at bottom of scoring page

Batting order visibility is on the Main Scoreing Screen and Scorebook, not the innning recap

on the iPhone screen real estate is limited but with version 2.8 the main scoreing screen now shows the next three batters (vs two before) and their place in the line up in the "top banner area" you get At Bat (AB), On Deck (ON), In the hole (IH).

on the iPad, with the extra screen real estate, you get both line ups on the main scoring screen

..to see more on the iPhone, at any time you can flip to the scorecard and see the complete line up or go to misc starting line up. Not as simple on the iphone as the iPad, but the addition of the in the hole batter should help forward visibility..
