Tournament Brackets

Post by sperok » Mon Oct 04, 2010 6:21 am

Sorry if this question is a FAQ - I am new to the app and could not find the answer on the forum.

Is there functionality that allows automating team results in a tournament such as:

- Display of the tournament brackets
- Posting of scores on the brackets
- Automatically moving teams according to win/loss
- Links to team and player scorecards and stats

Ideally this would support pool play (which would look much like a league) and elimination play (single or double elimination brackets).

Thanks,

Spero

We will be having a league / tournament offering coming out that will include all of these capabilities. We have run a few pilot tournaments with over 100 teams each that were all scored with iScore, and they went very well.

Thank you for showing there is interest in this capability.
Check out the new iScore Baseball documentation page!
Includes videos and user manual.

I would also be interested in hearing about this.

for a glipse into the future, here are a couple example of beta site FTM was involved in last year with ESPN RISE

National Softball Championship..

The Valley Invitational Baseball League (VIBL)

Please note, alot more goes into makeing a league site will take some evolution i am sure. but the betawork looks real promising. FTM has also suggested (but not promised) would be available for sale in spring for 2011 seasons...
