Tip - Photo Head Shots on Player Card and iscorecast

New Feature with v 2.8 - photo head shots for your players...

on your handheld, player manager > select player> select camera icon (lower right) > choose an image / head shot picture for your player to upload. Photo will appear on flip side of player card and on the HTML iscorecast when he pitches or comes to the plate. Fun!

Is there a way to add photos either from the admin site or the team website?

You can transfer images to your iPad by emailing them, configuring iTunes, or using a service like mobile me. You do not need the camera. Once they are on your iPad in the photo album, you can use them in iScore.

Here is a link to an article on the internet about getting pictures onto your iPad:

Linking the cards from the roster on the web would be way cool. Coming up with a way to print (or even order) the cards weould be even cooler. Thanks for all you guys are doing!

Thinking ahead (to the league site) and thiking about automation, it would be great to add an image name to a CSV upload that would pull an image for each associating player from a pool of images.

Cheers,

Can I email the player card with photo and stats to my players?

as mentioned elsewhere on the forum, there is not a direct one touch way to email individual player cards and stats from your handheld device.

the workaround for stats has been to highlight the stats by player and copy and paste into your email program.. or go the team web site route.

(the idea for easier emailing from the handheld device is on the FTM list for future consideration.. but not sure it of its relative priority)
