Multiple Teams in an Organization

Post by kellyberry » Wed Sep 08, 2010 11:42 am

What would be the best thing to do?...I have 3 teams in our organization. Is there a way to create ONE website for ALL 3 teams? And, if so, if each team has an ipad that they keep score on at their games for the weekend, can all of these stats be exported to the ONE website?

Currently the software and subscription service is practically speaking a one team per one team web site type model. (Though a device can have multiple teams and share games back and forth, it is pretty much one web site per team site at this stage).

That said, (as mentioned elsewhere in this forum by FTM) A future version of the software informally call the "league version" is envisioned to support multiple teams in a league fashion, and it may be something that would be of interest for your three team group. But that is not expected to be commercial anytime real soon .

For now, with the current version of the software, you are really looking at three separate team web sites for your three teams any combination of their games and stats would have to be manual on your end.

That is correct... Team Websites are intended to track a single team. You can have multiple team websites on a single device, and it only requires one export to update all of them, but you can not have multiple teams on a single Team Website.

The "league" offering will be a way to join multiple Team Websites into a single portal for the whole league where you will be able to view standings, league leaders, etc.
