Line up changes questions
Line up changes questions
Sometimes during a softball game a coach will make wholesale changes during a inning change. Some are defensive some offensive. He may say 23 in for 4. 7 in for 10 and 5 in for 3. What is the best way to deal with this? I mean I may not know who is playing where.

Re: Line up changes questions
Just score what you see when you see it. When the players are in the field, take a glance around and see who is in what position and make those changes in iScore. As players come to bat, make offensive substitutions as necessary. The fact that a player came in as an offensive substitution for another player does not really mean anything statistically until the player is actually at bat.

Re: Line up changes questions
"score what you see" is one of the things that differentiates iscore from others.. and this is exactly the type of scenario if works well at (as long as you can see the player name/numbers in the field and at the plate)
