How can I score faster?

I tried to use this for a game. I found that i had to tap too many times to record a play hence missing the next play.
Can I change how I score? Or is there someplace someone can recommend so I can learn to score faster?

I hope that they can do a "fast scoring" mode, where I can hit a special button for a specific play (HR, single, double, triple, groundout, etc.) and then hit specific buttons to pinpoint accurately (without missing any of the game) either where the ball got hit (in the event of a HR or some play that involved the outfield) or which players handled the ball (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9, like in the event of a groundout, groundout into double play, etc).

There are some shortcuts built in. If you put your finger on the Out button, and slide up, several shortcut plays appear. After a little practice, you can score games while chatting with friends and watching the action with no trouble at all, and never miss any of the details of the play.

It can be frustrating to try to score for the first few times at a high action little league game. I suggest sitting down on the couch and watch a MLB game and score the whole thing. This will help. With enough practice, it'll be second nature and you'll find there is plenty of time to score at a little league game.

Or even a couple college games on espn3.com. I have a few rosters that you're welcome to use if you'd like. That's how I learned to use it.
