Request for count down timer

A lot of the games my kids play are timed. I'd like to request a count down timer that could be displayed in the scoreboard. Perhaps the time could be set in the game set-up section and the timer started when "play" is pressed.

Also, is flash required to view the games on the web? Someone was trying to watch it on an iPad and couldn't it to play.

Thanks for a great product.

the idea of a game clock trigger to "play" has been suggested before. I would echo the idea of making an option to convert from game clock to a countdown clock that auto starts when play is set.

Yes, flash is required to play iScoreCast on the web. so no you can not watch the iscore cast from your iphone/itouch/ipad at this time.

(been mentioned before the irony by apple, the lack of flash, support. infact apple had to create a free app to view their own mobile me flash based photo/video galleries that are built into all their software products on the mac, ie iPhoto, iMovie etc) . Question? could FTM create a free iscorecast viewer app, like apple did for their mobile me photo / video gallery?.

Prior to the iPad, it did not make sense to try and create a viewer as the screen of a phone is too small to view all the data on the iScorecast anyway. We were hoping that Adobe's new release of CS5 (programming product that was going to allow compiling Flash applications for iPhone) was going to allow us to create a viewer, but Apple just released an updated agreement to their SDK disallowing creation of applications based on this framework. That is very unfortunate.

We will continue looking for ways to make the viewer available to more people, but the intent of the viewer was always to view on a desktop / laptop computer --- the iPad is just a new twist that we would like to solve.

In the meantime, you can always use the Twittercast to get updates out, though we realize is is not nearly as nice.

I too would highly recommend a timer! It is so crucial in so many youth baseball games and when you are home team bookeeper with iScore - you are responsible for time!

We have a timer on our list for future enhancements. Thank you.

For now, you guys with iPhones/iPod Touches could use the built-in countdown timer that's part of the Clock app. For some reason iPad doesn't have one.
