Embed iscorecast into iframe wrapper

Okay... I'm VERY close to getting this right.
Here is the page I'm testing with:
http://www.thunderstixbaseball.com/inde ... &Itemid=75" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I have a ustream box which will be streaming the kid's game on the upper box, and a box of iscorecast below it.
I can get it to get to the menu of games, but can't get it zoned into the specific game. I guess I need to set the "g" setting which corresponds with "Game Number" -- All I can find is the "GG" setting which corresponds with "Game Group" or something.
Here is the code I have currently:
Code: Select all
<iframe src ="http://data.iscorecentral.com/iscorecast/player.html?c=980CDD456B&g=EBBC00B9-899B-46ED-B083-B7D5B9F2ABDE&replay=1" width="100%" height="300">
<p>Your browser does not support iframes.</p>
</iframe>
What I need instead it to be able to find that single game code, and I'll bet I can get it to go straight to that game.
Where do I find the game code?
Thanks!!

When you have a team website (as we know you do), if you go to the Games screen, there is a link for the "iScoreCast" for each game. Just right click on that and copy the shortcut. It is a link that will take you straight to the game, and you can copy it into an IFRAME as you are showing in your post. You can optionally remove the &replay=1 querystring parameter if you want to allow people to just view the final result without watching the whole game.

There is no iscorecast listed there - even though I have started the game. Do I need to start the game, then do an export of data for it to show up? I'm only seeing Play-By-Play and BoxScore as options. Specifically testing with the game from 4/6.
Thanks!!

If the game was already created without iScorecast enabled, then you can go to Game Manager, select the game, scroll down to i-ScoreCast Synchronize and click that. After synchronizing, the link will appear for the iScoreCast as noted above.

nkcaump -
as you did not mention NA in your post, i am goingto ask an silly question...are you are looking on the team website not the admin site? (i have had that brain freeze before). in admin site you will see two columns of links (play-by-play and box score links) but no column (or link) for iscore cast. however, in team web site you get all three columns, and should see under iscorecast NA if it is not synched. since you did not mention NA in your post, though this may apply. once sync you will see the iscorecast link.
as you suspected in that link you will find the unigue game number code.
PS. the embeded iscore cast on your web site looks cool!!!

It is n/a that I am seeing under the iscorecast column. I did do an export of data, and I can see the game I want - but when I go down to iScore Synchronize on the iPhone, I never do get the n/a to go away. The game isn't for a few days - so I don't want to press "PLAY" before I need to... But that seems the only way I know to get the link to show.

Yes, the link will only show after pressing the Play button, but you can press Play to get the link to show, then immediately Undo. That will put the game back to "pre-game" status, and you will also have access to the iScorecast link for that game on your website.

Thanks for the help.
If anyone wants to see this crazy experiment of live broadcasting my son's game, you're welcome to tune in Monday night (April 12) at 5:45 Central Time. Here's the URL:
http://www.thunderstixbaseball.com/inde ... &Itemid=77" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It's likely to be a colossal failure, but at least it'll be colorful! And hopefully the team plays great!! (7 year old machine pitch baseball - what could POSSIBLY go wrong!!)
