Ok I'm the coach and don't know the correct terminology for some of this. However we recently have had parents say that they are not able to follow our games live on their Iphone.

We haven't done anything different wrt scoring the games. Can someone get me started on how to troubleshoot this?

If they are using the iscorecentral app, they must pay for the premium package to view games live. Without the premium upgrade, they can get scores only. This change was implemented a few months ago so should not be something new. If your team is just now getting started for summer ball and is using for the first time in a while, that may be the problem.

It all starts with your scorkeeper and the iscore baseball/softball scorekeeper app (green icon).

In iScore baseball scorekeeper app ...
1) make sure iscorecast is enabled under "Options"
2) make sure you have a good quality internet connection

That is it! Then when scoring a game you will be broadcasting. You can tap the 'radio tower' icon to see how many viewers or send yourself a game link to test.

Any one with the game link can follow the game on a web browser for free. just click on the iscorecast link.

Those who prefer an optimized App for their smart phone, can download the iScore Central Viewer App (blue icon) on their android or apple smartphone and purchase a premium subscription ($5/3 months) and then can save favorite team and follow audio broadcast and play by play on their phone .

All good now. It was a problem on my end with the device. Can't believe I did not know the games were available live on the app.
