How are the Tough Losses, Cheap Wins and Game Score pitching stats calculated?

Good question.. It is related to another stat called "Game Score" see below..
(not asked but somewhat related, I assume you know you manually assign winning and loosing pitchers, post game in game info screen as the rules/definitions vary by league. )

• Game Score
  • Start with 50 points.
    Add 1 point for each out recorded, so 3 points for every complete inning pitched.
    Add 2 points for each inning completed after the 4th.
    Add 1 point for each strikeout.
    Subtract 2 points for each hit allowed.
    Subtract 4 points for each earned run allowed.
    Subtract 2 points for each unearned run allowed.
    Subtract 1 point for each walk.
  Quality Start = Game Score > 50.
  
  Tough Loss = a pitcher that gets a Loss but had a Quality Start.
  
  Cheap Wins = a pitcher that gets a Win but had a non Quality Start.

It is based on Bill James formula and used in analysis of MLB pitchers and 9inning games. not sure how well it translates to amateur leagues and less than 9 innings but it is a consistent calc for comparisons.
