Double Plays (answered)

I'm sure this is a simple question - but what is the proper sequence for scoring a typical double play (6-4-3, 4-6-3, etc)?

I've been scoring for a couple of years now and I've always scored it as "Ground Out (with sequence of outs - 4-6-3), Double Play! (for runner that was on First)"

But - this seems wrong. Technically, isn't it a FC, Runner on First is Force out at 2B, and Batter is Force out at 1B? But once scored as a FC, there is no other action to score on the batter-runner.

Am I overthinking this?

Sounds like you are scoring it right... Out, Ground Out, tap players involved, Double Play for runner. You can also place your finger on the Out button and slide it up without lifting to get to the "Quick Play" menu and select the 6-4-3 double play option there.

Ah - the Quick Play! Only ever used it for pick offs. Learning something new all of the time!

As support indicated, you have been scoring correct b/c u use the "Double Play button " ( that Double Play button or quick plays are The key to get all the stats correct ( put out, assists, participation in DP , out sequence on scorecard and batter GDP)

Per OBR, Batter gets credited w a GDP (ground into double play ) stat not FC
