Hi, I normally set my lineup and preset the defensive positions for each inning on my ipad. Then during the game, I score on my android device. I can discover the game on my android and import the data, but the defensive positions didn't import. I had to change them in between innings. what did I do wrong?

I do not think you are doing anything wrong. What you are wanting does not curretntly work that way . The preset line up is not part of the data shareing information. the android platform does not have the "preset fielder" functionality that was beta tested in iOS devices . (You can validate this your self on your android device). Until they implement that functionality in android you either can use iPad and pre set fielders or add them as you go on android device

I have tested it....the problem isn't that I'm trying to preset my fielders on the android (although that would be a good feature to be added), I preset my lineup and fielders positions for all innings on my ipad and want those preset fielders to transfer to the lineup on the android where I score the game.

So are you saying because android can't preset, it doesn't accept the preset fielders either as part of the data share?

Thanks for the insight!

Even going from one Apple device to another Apple device would not transfer the "preset fielding positions" that you can create. You can set the starting lineup positions for each player, and those will transfer fine, but the "preset fielding positions" that you can set for an entire game only remain on the device you created those presets on, and Android devices do not currently support that feature.

Ok...thanks for the clarifications.

Any estimate on when the android will offer the preset ability?

We do not have an estimate. We balance the things we work on based on customer requests and other inputs, so we will continue comparing it to other priorities and add to Android as workload and priorities allow.

This would be another welcome addition to Android. The Android version of iScore is sooo lacking on a number of fronts compared to iOS. It's a shame really.
