Edit a ball 4 / walk to a popout/OUT

How can I change the play from a walk to a popout? the edit play by play does not allow changing from SAFE to OUT at the top of the choices.
That is a type of change (safe to out or out to safe) you have to correct real time. Using undo . Not post game in pitch by pitch editor
The program has internal code that depends on number of outs in an inning and who is on base to be correct as you go
