Hello, I'm new here and haven't committed to downloading the app just yet. I manage an 11u team and looking for the right app for our team. Have used GC previously, but they are pretty expensive and only IOS compatible.
Only myself and any additional scorekeeper I assign would need to download the $10 app and would we be able to sync these two devices? The rest of the team "fans" would just download the free iScore Central app, correct? Also, will our fans be able to view all team/player stats and schedules through the iScore Central app as well?
Thx

Re: iScore Central...?
Only scorekeepers need to purchase iScore.
The iScore Central app is used to watch the games live, and see the basic stats. If you have an optional team website, then you can view the full stats through the iScore Central app as well.
You can email the stats from the scorekeeper device to anyone you want to share with without needing an optional team website.

Re: iScore Central...?
As a long time forum member and user not affiliated with the Iscore company... When faced with the choice of Iscore or gc. I have tried and used both. I found Iscore and better and have never regretted my investment in the app $ and time to learn and use the app.
I found Iscore To be more robust for baseball and fast pitch softball stats, it supported both my son and daughter with multiple teams each year (school, travel, fall). Iscore had better ways to share information for free (Score card PDF, email, excel, optional 20$ team web site, free Iscore cast). and I really wanted to own the stats on my device vs have gc stored on a server . Originally I would export to excel but as Iscore evolved found that not needed.
The lifetime update and support for 10$ has been well worth it. For both son and daughter team from uX to HS to college.
We were so happy with Iscore app we bought a team web site for 20$ . And found it so good renewed each year as they grew up the ranks. But that is optional. Just found easy and worth 20$/year and no pass the hat or nickel and dime coaches and parents.
To recap for 10$ you can score games for years to come and share live free score casts and email to who ever you want player card stats, scorecards, team stats , download to excel for no additional $.. Just time invested to learn and use the app software ..
To be clear neither iscore no GC let two devices each partial score game and merge real time. One device is the game specific scorer. But iscore lets you pass back me forth to other user post game stats and data as you own the device. ( each user if not on the same android or apple account would need to purchase the app) . With data sharing in iscore two different users can have share and each have all the same info if desired as if both scored. I do not think gc can do that.
And yes on both android and iOS phone be tablets.
