switch to Android due to price in tablet?

I have used an original Apple Ipad to track stats for our team the last few years. I broke the screen recently and it isn't worth it to replace the screen.

I kept stats on my iphone 6 plus this weekend but noticed that it doesn't include all of the options and it isn't as easy to use as the ipad. So I've decided to purchase a new table but curious on which size will have all of the features of the ipad.

Android tables are much cheaper but I've never used Iscore one. So I know I would need to purchase the app for android if I switch but just curios on which tablets seem to be the best.

All I use a table for is Netflix, surfing the web, and Iscore - nothing else. I want to make sure that I have all of the features of Iscore regardless of what I use.

Any suggestions on what tablet to purchase?

Thank you.

If you are not going to go with an iPad, then the suggested Android tablets would be the ones made by Samsung or Google (Nexus).

thank you for the reply. any particular reason on those 2 brands? the reason I was switching from ipad was that the androids offered tablets with much lower prices. So i was thinking I could pick up a table for $100 vs $350 for an ipad. However when I look at Samsung and Google brands they are relatively the same cost as an ipad.

thank you.

It has to do with quality. The Samsung and Google (Nexus) tablets are high quality tablets that work well. You really do get what you pay for. The $100 Android tablets are that cheap because they cut corners (less memory, slower CPU, lower resolution/quality screens, etc) so they do not perform as well.
