Proper key entries for a situation?

I had a situation yesterday that I couldn't figure out the correct key entries to make the scorecard correct in iScore.

One out, runner on 1st. An infield grounder was hit to the short stop and he made a double play (6-4-3), should be fairly simple to score but I didn't get it right. My scorecard shows that the guy going from 1st to 2nd was the 3rd out when he was the 2nd out. My scorecard shows DP6-4-3 for the guy thrown out at 1st and the guy at 2nd shows F02 for the 3rd out.

I'm confused about what I did wrong in the entries.

What version of software are you running? This was a problem fixed in the latest version (2.41.67).

What buttons did you hit, and in what order?

I was just doing a "test" game and tried to replicate what I did yesterday and it seemed to do the same thing as I mentioned. In my test I had a runner at 1st and 2nd with no outs. The batter hit to SS and a double play ensued (6-4-3). I showed the runner that was on 2nd advanced to 3rd in this case and that worked fine. The scorecard reads DP6-4-3 for the batter making the first out and the runner from first making the 2nd out. I agree the scorecard should read DP 6-4-3 for the batter but the first out should be the runner that got thrown out at 2nd.

Help!

The button order I hit for the batter was:

"Out"
"Ground Out"
(location of the hit)
Combination of player's handling the ball (6-4-3 in this case)
What happended to the runner that as on second base,
"Third"
"Advanced by Batter"
What happened to the runner that was on first base,
"Out"
"Second"
"Double Play"

You need to email your customer ID to FTM <support@fasterthanmonkeys.com> so they know what data to look at (and mention why you're emailing in the note). That looks like the right key combo to me, though.

I just tried this in a test game and got the same results. The runner from 1st was the third out while the batter runner was the second out. Not true in a 6-4-3 double play.

Maybe this could be true in a 6-3-4 double play but I would say that is fairly rare.

We will get this fixed for the next release.

In the meantime, if you use "Quick Plays" (slide finger up across the "Out" button), you can select 6-4-3 double play there, and the outs will show in the correct order.
