When I input "strike", why does Live stats

When I input "strike", why does Live stats

say "strike looking" when i haven't designated looking or swinging?

is thers a way to change it to "strike swinging"???

Tapping the strike button results in a strike looking. Swiping up on the strike button gives a strike swinging.
